I’ll remember you
For your beautiful smile and cheerful ways, I’ll remember you.
For your kind and loving heart, I’ll remember you.
For your big hugs and I love you mom, I’ll remember you.
My child, my baby, my angel, I’ll remember you.
When the world has forgotten, I’ll remember you.
When I miss you so, I’ll remember you.
When I feel lost and alone, I’ll remember you.
My child, my love, my son, I’ll remember you.
I’ll see your beautiful smile, and I’ll remember you.
I’ll know your kind and loving heart, and I’ll remember you.
I’ll feel your hugs and hear your words, and I’ll remember you.
My child, my boy, my sweet angel, I’ll remember you.
So if the world has forgotten, I’ll make them remember you.
So they can know your kind and loving heart, and remember you.
So they will feel your angelic hugs and hear your words. “I’ll remember you.”
My child, my baby, my love, and then they’ll remember you too.

The Silencing Pain
Who you’ve become was never you.
Lost, and alone, stone cold blue.
Desperation is your only friend.
A grieving heart to the bitter end.
Trudging through the shit so deep.
Mountains of shit so very steep.
Your poor heart cries out.
But your eyes won’t weep.
You tell no secrets with a belief in mind.
Dancing a 2-step, but one step behind.
Off balance, not on cue, out of focus.
Poor pitiful you.
Rumpled, beaten. And torn apart.
Smashed and bruised, your broken heart.
Desolate and alone you begin to cry.
Bulbous tears from within, not from eyes.

Eclipse Of The Son
You shone so brightly in every way.
Making life sunny from the very first day.
Sonflowers bloomed and daffodils smiled.
Under your gaze they grew free and wild.
The dragonflies flew and the ladybugs oohed.
The bluebirds sang while dancing in the rain.
A robin landed so happily at your side.
All the critters chatted from far and wide.
" A son is born !" , Their world was bright.
But then one day the sky went dark.
A bad moon came out, it flew in an ark.
It flew so quickly blocking out the son.
It burned so fiercely knocking out the fun.
The creatures fell silently upon their knees.
The doves cried out in the mourning breeze.
A dragonfly flew, a butterfly was born.
The sky turned dark with the impending storm.
The son was dazed, dimmed for a moment.
But then it shone brightly, flying high in ascent.

I Would
If I could give you the sun, the moon and the stars, I would.
On your darkest day I'd give you a rainbow of many colors.
If I could, I'd give you the fluffiest white cloud to rest on.
If I could,
I would give you the grandest choir of birds to sing you a
lovely song.
I would give you the tallest trees to lay under in the greenest and
lushest of grass.
I'd add a beautiful butterfly for you to gaze at, as it merrily flew
past.
I'd give you a swing that hung over a clear flowing river, to dip your
toes in.
Cooling your feet, as you swung to and fro.
I would.
If I could, I would give to you all these things and more.
I would.

A Song Of Love
You are the spade in my flower garden, I dig you, digging me.
You are the paint on my brush making my canvas brilliant with color.
You are the sun that shines on my petals allowing me to blossom fully.
You are the blood in my veins making my heart pump with joy.
Your love is like the finest cuisine that I could dine on forever,
never tiring of it's flavor.
You are the stems that carry my leaves to the far reaches of heaven,
allowing me a freedom to grow beyond the imaginable.
You are the 1 in my dance of a 2 step, holding me gently in a loving
embrace.
You are the soil I root in, the air I breathe, and the elixir I drink.
My warmth on a cold winters day, blanketing me with your vast love.
A song of love so passionate and true, I sing this day for you.
For you are my passion, a life giving sustainance that is, pure, true
and unending.
Thank-you.
